Coyotes Alumni Game Set for Fri Feb 10

Posted on by Ice Den

The Phoenix Coyotes Alumni Association will host an annual charity hockey game on Friday, Feb 10 at 7:30pm at the Ice Den in Scottsdale (9375 E Bell Rd).  The alumni team features a lineup of former Phoenix Coyotes and Jets players, current Coyotes coaches and a few other NHL alumni.  They will be playing against a very talented and formidable roster of CAHA coaches and instructors eager to display their skills (or at least hold their cookies).  In addition to the game, there will also be a silent auction featuring items donated by the Coyotes Alumni, the Phoenix Coyotes, and local businesses.  All Alumni game ticket sales and proceeds from the silent auction benefit CAHA. Last year the game was a complete sellout and raised more than $5,000 for CAHA.
Prior, during and after the Alumni game, 18 Degrees Neighborhood Grill, (inside the Ice Den), will be having food and drink specials so get here early!

Tickets for the game are now being sold for only $5 ea. by the following Jr Coyotes Travel Teams (email the manager below if you need tickets).

The Phoenix Coyotes and NHL alumni throughout the valley have taken on an extremely pivotal role in growing youth hockey in Arizona. The goal of the Coyotes Alumni Association is to raise awareness of the Phoenix Coyotes in the Valley as they assist the youth hockey associations throughout Arizona. During the 2010-2011 season the alumni held five charity games at local ice rinks as well as hosting a charity golf tournament on April 3, 2011.

With the support of the Coyotes, the alumni raised over $65,000 for minor hockey throughout the 2010-2011 season and are on pace to reach their goal of over $100,000 for the 2011-2012 season.
